Decription of the artwork

In the early evening, on an outherwordly beautiful, rocky meadow between two nearby mountain passes at an altitude of 2600-2700 meters, I encountered a herd of chamois. A mother departed the herd, and shortly after a baby ran after her. It didn´t take long until the little one caught up, and together they crossed the trail behind me. I think this moment of stillness will stay with me forever. At this point, I had hiked three out of four weeks along the mountain trail known as "Grande Traversée des Alpes", and was physically very tired, yet my mind felt at peace and in tune with the rhythm of nature. And so, after this magical encounter, I continued to the Vallée des Merveilles to get a glimpse of the 3300-5500 years old petroglyphs.
