Description of the artwork

The breathtaking view of the mountain La Meije a chilly evening in August, during a walk around and through the magic Parc national des Écrins in the French alps. When la Meije revealed herself, the things that had previously weighed my conscious down instantly felt lighter. It felt as if the mountain took care of it, without judgement, and without comforting. She was only there. The nearby glacier cooled the wind, but sometimes the cold was almost forgotten. My hope is that this painting will help you reach a peaceful place within yourself.
